an exclusive interview with john boehner. >> heather: new details on a murder-suicide in kansas city reportedly involving a football player for the kansas city chiefs. police say that 25-year-old ja vochb bel cher shot his girlfriend and drove to the stadium and shot himself in front of the general manager. elizabeth pran is live with more on the disturbing story. >> after four successful years with the kansas city kheefgs, police say 25-year-old that he shot and killed himself before the coach and general manager right outside in front of a training facility. this shortly after police say he shot his girlfriend multiple times at a home only five miles from the stadium. police have not released the identity of bel cher's girlfriend nor have they confirmed that the woman's mother and toddler were at the home at the time of the shooting. second shooting caused the whole facility go on lockdown and the community is digesting what happened. >> we're talking about kids that are 25 years old playing in circumstances that most of us would never dream of and living lives in fish bowls. sometimes it bec

whitfield. >> kansas city chiefs jovan belcher has committed suicide after allegedly killing his girlfriend. he allegedly shot his girlfriend multiple times at the couple's home. the paper said the two had been arguing. he then drove to a practice facility at the chiefs arrowhead stadium, woalked up to had coac and general manager, thanks them for what they had done for him, then shot himself in the head. joining us, nfl senior reporter, don banks. what do you know of this? how do you put it into perspective? >> it's a pretty unique situation in terms of nfl history. i think this is really the first time we have ever had this situation where a double murder and a player committing suicide the day before a game is scheduled in that stadium in that city. it's a tragedy. i think the nfl is little bit working without a map because they never had a situation quite this immediate to deal with, and quite this tragic. >> and what is so incredible about this is clearly, by thanking, reportedly, his coach and the general manager, i mean, they must be replaying that moment, you know, when he pulled th

hour gusts. so that's really part of the problem because the big cities aren't seeing snow accumulation. they're seeing heavy rain with the wind. here's a snapshot. in central park, gusting to 31 miles an hour. all the way from cleveland to indy, 20 to 30-mile-an-hour gusts and new york gets in the potential 50, 55-mile-an-hour gusts tonight. exacerbating are those winds. so here's the big picture. the good news though, we've seen things clear out. in illinois, indiana, even into ohio. you see those kind of holes in the radar, the dark white showing where the heaviest snow is. but see those dry pockets now? all that is lifting out. still wet here along the 95 cory -- corridor but all the snow we certainly saw a lot. so in southeastern illinois, 18 inches. bloomfield, indiana, 11. evansville, 10, indy, 7.2. paducah, kentucky, 4.6. so certainly, a lot of strong storms with this, no question about that. and a lot of snow. but here's where the heaviest snow is. the access in upstate and western new york. and that's where the problems will be, albany, points northward. here's a look at snowf
